Mrs C Cooper  Girls Rugby  

I have been teaching for 15years. Spent time developing Girls Rugby in Guernsey as well as playing in the Island Ladies Team.
Very much enjoying seeing the girls game developing. I have achieved my level 2 Coach Award in order to be a part of teaching the full sided game within secondary schools.


Mr B Hall - U15 Competitions 


I have been a PE teacher for the past 9 years and I am currently Head of Games at Kings’ School Winchester. I first started playing junior rugby for Liskeard Looe and played my adult years as scrum half for a variety of clubs including Truro, Henley Hawks, Basingstoke and Andover.


Mr D Roberts - U18s Competitions 


Teacher of A-Level PE at Havant and South Downs College and co-ordinate rugby activities.  I am also Havant RFC U18 Girls Head Coach.  


Mr T Shearsmith - Treasurer


It’s a pleasure to be involved in shaping the future of Hampshire Schools Rugby. As a rugby enthusiast for many years, it has been the delivery of rugby in schools since my teaching began in 2003 has seen me involved more and more in the game. The link between Rugby's core values and education go hand in hand and it’ a pleasure to have such an active part in the games future throughout all Hampshire Schools. 









Mr I Kerr   


Lord Wandsworth College teacher, now "sort of" retired but in reality busier than ever.

Involved in Rugby since the beginning of time; player, coach, referee for the Hampshire Society for 25 years.Chairman of HSRFU between 2000 and 2013 and again 2016 to 2018.

Former President of Hampshire RFU and currently Deputy Pres.Keen mountaineer with many routes completed in UK, Europe and further afield. Active cadet force officer with particular interests in flying, leadership and personal challenge awarded an OBE in 2008.


Mr R Dollimore - Chairman


I am Deputy Headteacher at Bishop Challoner Secondary School and have been teaching and coaching rugby for 15 years.  I started playing rugby for New Milton as an under 10.  Since then, rugby has taken me around the world and I have been lucky enough to play for clubs in France, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.  I have played for London Irish Veterans since 2012 and have no intention of retiring from the game I love just yet.


Mr J Rayner - Secretary and ESRFU Rep


I have been the Head of Rugby at Lord Wandsworth College for 3 years and have been involved in coaching rugby for 10 years. My playing career has taken me to all corners of the globe and I am very excited to be part of the new HSRFU committee as Secretary and a member of the England Schools RFU. I am also a Coach developer for the RFU which gets me out in the county coaching other coaches and teachers to develop the game. I first started playing rugby at prep school aged 10 and I am currently playing my rugby at Alton Rugby club for the 1st XV.


Mr A Sutherland - U16 Competitions 


Teacher at Kings School Winchester (In charge of Football but rugby is my sport), have played rugby since the age of 4 previous clubs; Trojans, London Scottish, Bedford Blues, Bournemouth (current). Represented Hampshire at 2 County Championship finals both at Twickenham 2016 and 2017.
