Any club or any group operating under the Hampshire RFU Limited, that has any responsibility for any child under the age of 18 years, will comply with all the RFU directives on the above subject, and failure to do so will be seen as a clear breach. In consequence, regulation 1(3) will apply.
In relation to child welfare and protection the various actions taken by the individual club's Child Welfare Officer, the CB Child Welfare Manager and the governing national body shall remain confidential for right and proper reasons.However, the failure of a club or group from within the CB, to comply with the RFU policies and directives shall be a matter for the CB in the first instance. The County, in consolation with the governing bodies National Child Welfare and Diversity Officer, will ensure that it has a Child Welfare Manager who will report to and be a member of the Governance Committee. |
