 It is with great sadness that Hampshire Rugby Football Union and Eastleigh Rugby Football Club announce the passing of Andy Kidd, who suffered a severe heart attack yesterday evening and, unfortunately, despite surgery, died in hospital on Sunday 7 February 2010. Funeral details now received ....
Andy was the Vice Chairman of the Hampshire Youth Forum and also Allocations Officer for Hampshire Referees Society. In fact, Andy was at Hampshire Under 20s match with Surrey at Havant on Sunday afternoon assessing the referee but suffered a heart attack on his return home. He was also a stalwart member and supporter of Eastleigh RFC, this being among his many titles but most of all, he was a very good friend to many. Our thoughts go out to his wife Tracy, son Jamie, daughter Stephanie and the family. The arrangements for the funeral for Andy Kidd are as follows:- 11.30 Wednesday 17th February at Wessex Vale Crematorium Bubb Lane West End SO30 2HL Tracy and the family have asked that everyone wears a Rugby Shirt as Andy always did, If you don't fell able to wear a Rugby shirt then she has requested that there is no black worn. There will only be family flowers, however any donations can be sent to the Animal Cancer Trust c/o B Matthews Funeral Directors, 146 Portsmouth Road Woolston, Southampton SO19 9AP The Funeral will be followed by a private family wake. There will be a book of condolence available at Eastleigh RFC for messages. Tracy, Jamie and Stephanie would also like thank those of you who have sent messages of condolence already Please could I ask that you diseminate this email to all those who may have known Andy.
