Hampshire Schools battle for Twickenham chance

ImageSchool children from Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire will take to the field on June 24th to compete in the South Tag to Twickenham Regional Festival at Newbury RFC.  The Tag to Twickenham tournament was developed from the Child Victims of Crime Tag Rugby project in 2007.

Daily Echo running "Blast From The Past" rugby feature

ImageThe "Daily Echo" newspaper in Southampton are running a regular Tuesday page of archive rugby pictures, along the lines of the "Scare Are They Know" feature they do for local football teams. They have dug deep into their picture files to find an array of shots going all the way back to the 40s through to the current day. Clive Downton, the Echo's rugby correspondent, is looking for any more you may have.

Brockenhurst College win RFU Award

ImageBrockenhurst College Rugby Academy have continued their successful season having already won the Hampshire Colleges League, the inaugural CAPITA SYMONDS Festival and reaching the National Finals of the British Colleges Championship by winning the RFU PRESIDENTS XV AWARD for Volunteering (VRugby).
