 Petersfield's Will Spencer has been selected for England Under 18s tour to South Africa starting on 12 July, where England will play three matches against a Namibia Invitation XV on 16 July, France U18 on 20 July and South Africa U18 on 23rd July. Hampshire RFU and Petersfield RFC wish him all the very best.

Hampshire Under 16 Trial Dates |

 Trials for non-County players who wish to be considered for this coming season's Under 16 County Squad will take place on Sunday 15 August at Winchester RFC between 10am and 1pm. All players should be nominated by their club or school. Anyone whose details have not been received with not be permitted to trial.

Petersfield RFC Annual Mini Rugby Workshop |

Petersfield RFC will run it's 16th Mini Rugby Workshop on the weekend of 13 to 15 August at Penns Place again this year and include in its supporters, TOPGEAR LIE, who will be in attendance. But the emphasis will be on the tremendously popular event Fun-Rugby Weekend, geared to give children of all ages a happy, fun introduction to the "Game Played in Heaven".

Delight as Mike Glogg receives MBE in Birthday Honours |

 Hampshire Rugby Football Union are delighted to announce that county president Mike Glogg has received an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list announced this morning (Saturday 12 June 2010). He receives the honour for his outstanding voluntary services to rugby union.

Andover RFC Youth Academy celebrate season |

 Andover Rugby Club's Youth Academy's 2009/2010 season ended in style with a weekend of fun and celebrations. On Friday 14 May, the club's annual charity ball was held in a large marquee at the Goodship Ground with dinner and dancing into the early hours incorporating a fantastic auction. The event raised a total of over £6,000 for the club.
